Shore
Our Shore based lobster and Foraging courses are a unique experience that starts right on the beach.
We will start the day on some theory. where we discuss dive safety, finding suitable ground, how to find visibility, being efficient and effective, understanding behaviours of lobsters and other species, what to look out for on your dives, going through kit and what species and crustaceans we may find on the day. Giving you the tools to get out and be successful on every dive.
We then head into the water and put the knowledge to the test, with a coach on hand at all times teaching and guiding as you go. At the end of the day we discuss our experiences and finish up on any unanswered questions from the day.
All catches from the day are yours to take home and enjoy.

Boat
Our boat based foraging course follow a similar structor to our shore based courses, however we have access to a fully equipped classroom with on site facilities like toilets, changing areas and hot drinks.
we cover a wide range of theory in the classroom but, go into more detail on certain aspects, like diving from a boat.
the classroom is on the same site as the boat is moored.
Other benefits of doing the boat course
include, giving us access to a wide range of kit, that is available for day hire.
Operating from a boat gives us more access to untouched parts of the coastline that would not usually be accessed by shore, giving easier access to move to different spots, thus further increasing our chances of more species and catches.
